Nannies

A nanny is a professional child carer, they take responsible care of your children.
They usually work 10-12 hours a day and usually have sole charge of your children. They do have some form of childcare qualifications which contributes to a positive learning environment for your children

Live in Nanny:

Live in nannies should be treated as a part of family. They usually do up to 2 babysitting nights a week.
They usually have two full days off per week. They are treated as an employee (usually 4 weeks of paid holidays, sick pay, maternity pay…all must be stated in contract between family and nanny) or they can be self employed.
Salary is £250-£450 net per week

Live out Nanny:

Full time nannies usually work from 8am – 6pm
Any babysitting is paid as an overtime.They are treated as an employee (usually 4 weeks of paid holidays, sick pay, maternity pay…all must be stated in contract between family and nanny) or they can be self employed.

Salary is £ 7.50 – £11 per hour Net (it depends up to nanny’s qualifications, experiences, location).
